Naomi is featured in a new book by Vincent Schilling titled "Native Athletes in Action". She is one of 13 Native American athletes whose biographies are featured in the book. Each story highlights the life and achievements of one of 13 men and women, including the legendary Jim Thorpe; NHL player Jordin Tootoo; Stephanie Murata (National Wrestling Champion); Cory Witherall (Indy race car driver); Alwyn Morris (Olympic gold medalist in kayaking), among others. 12.1.06 :: Mark Proposes to Naomi at Fashion On Ice Show
At the conclusion of Disson's "Fashion On Ice" show and surrounded by the cast, Mark Fitzgerald proposed to Naomi at center ice - she accepted! Photos of the exciting event are now available in the "In Focus" section.

11.1.06 :: Naomi and Peter on Today
Naomi and Peter will appear on the Today Show on Saturday, November 4th.

06.11.06 :: A pair of Naomi's skates will be part of an exhibit at the Heard Museum in Phoenix, Arizona
"Sole Stories: American Indian Footwear" opens at the Heard Museum Oct. 21, 2006 and closes Oct. 21, 2007. "The theme of the exhibit is American Indian footwear and how it signifies the various roles Native Americans participate in. Shoes are one of the most universal objects and through this familiarity they will engage the visitors for braoder discussions of diversity and identity, both of which shoes represent."  They have chosen to include a pair of Naomi's skates in their exhibit as she represents the first Native American woman to compete at the Winter Olympics.

03.03.06 :: Symphony On Ice appearance
Naomi and Peter will be skating in the Symphony On Ice show in Atlantic City, New Jersey, on May 13th.

01.20.06 :: L & T will skate in Eisgala Davos in Switzerland
Naomi and Peter will skate in "Eisgala Davos" in Davos, Switzerland on February 9 & 10th.

11.22.05 :: L & T to Perform in "Cirque Sur Glace" Shows
Naomi and Peter will perform in Cirque Sur Glace, a theatrical figure skating cirque spectacular, presented by Aerial Experience Productions. This unique presentation will take place on December 15, 16 and 17 at Valencia Ice Station in Valencia, California. Other athletes scheduled to participate include Olympic champion gymnast Shannon Miller, Olympians Jamie Dantzscher and Kristen Maloney and US Skater Rohene Ward... just to name a few.

11.09.05 :: L & T replace Nicole Bobek for Disson show
Naomi and Peter will be performing at the "Earth, Wind and Fire Tribute on Ice" in Bridgeport, CT, as a replacement for Nicole Bobek. The show will air on television on December 17 from 4-6pm.

09.23.05 :: L & T to Perform in the"Alexei & Friends" show
Naomi and Peter will skate in Alexei Yagudin's "Alexei & Friends" show in St. Petersburg, Russia, on October 2nd.
